Hogwarts Legacy Character Customization

At the start of the game, you can customize your character to your heart’s content! However, it’s important to note that you cannot change some options once you actually start the game itself. There are still plenty of ways to customize your character mid-game though, especially when it comes to your hairstyle and hair color!

Here are the options you cannot change once you start the game:

• Voice tone
• Voice pitch
• Skin color
• Face shape
• Dormitory

How to Change Appearance in Hogwarts Legacy

If you’re fancying a change, head to Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium in Hogsmeade for a brand-new haircut and hair color.

Visiting a beautician also allows you to change your eyebrow shape and eye color if you wish to do so. Keep in mind that changing these options will cost 20 Galleons, so make sure you’ve saved up enough money!

If you’re not sure where to find salons and beauticians in the game, look out for a symbol with scissors on your map.

Character Customization Options

There are quite a few options available when you first enter the character customization menu at the start of the game. You can choose from a variety of ready-made presets and get started with the story straight away, or you can customize one! Here are the options that you can customize:

Outfits

As Hogwarts Legacy is an RPG, it’s no surprise that there are tons of gear options for your outfits! Whether you want to use base gear or make use of the fantastic transmog feature, your character can explore in style.

You can obtain new gear by opening chests that you find while exploring, or by completing quests! Gladrag’s Wizardwear is also a fantastic shop to visit when looking for new clothes.

Transmog

If you’ve ever played an MMO, you’re probably familiar with this term! It’s a handy feature that allows you to change the appearance of gear, while still keeping the same stats.

In Hogwarts Legacy, all you need to do is open up the Gear menu and hover over your equipped gear – you’ll spot the option to change its appearance!
